Fractional Strategy & Growth Leadership

What is fractional leadership?

Experienced leadership. A share of the time. More room to move forward.

Korfi helps owners simplify systems, make difficult decisions, and finish important work their team has not had the capacity to take on.

Talk with NathanSee what we can solve together

Leadership, with room to fit

More capacity to lead.
Less weight carried alone.

A fractional leader becomes part of your leadership team for an agreed number of hours each month. You get experienced judgment and ongoing responsibility for defined priorities, without adding a full-time executive position.

For an established business, the gap is often between knowing something needs to change and having someone with the time, context, and authority to move it forward.

The goal is practical freedom: less wasted time, money, effort, and brainpower—and a company that can run and grow beyond its founder.

What we can solve together

Success creates complexity.
It does not have to stay that way.

Your business may have decades of experience, data, and hard-earned processes. The opportunity is to make that foundation easier to work with.

01

Finish the project that keeps slipping.

The system migration, growth initiative, or quarterly Rock gets pushed back again. Everyone is busy running the business.

The work we take on

Define the outcome, give the work an owner, coordinate the right people, and keep decisions moving.

02

Make your systems work together.

Years of software, spreadsheets, and workarounds leave people entering the same information twice and chasing answers.

The work we take on

Map the technology stack and workflows. Decide what to keep, connect, simplify, replace, or build.

03

Find where AI actually helps.

You see the potential, but rolling AI out across the company feels like another major project with no clear starting point.

The work we take on

Find a useful first application, test it with your team and data, then expand what earns its place.

04

Turn operating data into better decisions.

Sales, purchasing, inventory, and production each tell part of the story. Getting a clear picture takes too much work.

The work we take on

Connect reliable data, define the questions that matter, and build reporting people can use to act.

05

Give the business a direction people can execute.

There are plenty of ideas, but the long-term vision and this quarter’s priorities do not always line up.

The work we take on

Connect the 10-year target, three-year picture, one-year plan, and quarterly Rocks to clear ownership and a useful meeting rhythm.

06

Build a company that can outlast its founder.

Too many approvals, relationships, and answers still depend on you. Taking time away creates more work when you return.

The work we take on

Clarify decision rights, develop repeatable processes, and help the team take responsibility with better information.

How the partnership works

Reserved time. Shared priorities. Real ownership.

Work directly with Nathan, with a clear monthly commitment and an agenda built around your business.

01 / Focus

A short list that matters.

Agreed priorities, explicit tradeoffs, and clarity about what can wait.

02 / Capacity

Time set aside for your business.

Reserved monthly hours for decisions, research, planning, and follow-through.

03 / Accountability

Know what is moving.

A shared view of progress, owners, open decisions, and the next action.

We identify the opportunity first. Then we agree on the right scope, hours, and fee.

From conversation to progress

Start with the problem.
Build the right plan.

The pace depends on the work and your team’s capacity. Each stage should leave you with a useful decision or a concrete improvement.

  1. 01

    Understand the opportunity

Talk with you and the people doing the work. Trace the constraints, systems, and handoffs before recommending a solution.

  2. 02

    Choose the work worth doing

Compare impact, effort, cost, and risk. Agree on the priority, monthly hours, scope, responsibilities, and how progress will be measured.

  3. 03

    Lead it through

Research options, make recommendations, coordinate your team and specialists, and resolve the decisions that hold up delivery.

  4. 04

    Measure, transfer, improve

Review results against the starting point. Document the process, establish internal ownership, and decide what to expand, change, or stop.

Choose the capacity you need

Different needs call for different kinds of help.

A monthly partnership is useful when the decisions and follow-through continue beyond one deliverable.

A defined outcome

Project consulting

A focused assessment, plan, or implementation with a clear beginning and end.

Useful when you can define the work and want a separate project scope.

A permanent function

A full-time leader

A dedicated executive with daily availability and continuing responsibility for a function or team.

Useful when the scope, workload, and budget justify a permanent role.

Agencies, developers, and other specialists can support any of these approaches. Korfi helps define their work and coordinate delivery where needed.

An operator beside you

I know what it feels like when everything comes back to you.

I recently sold an eight-figure brand I helped build. Now I work with other founders and entrepreneurs on the systems, decisions, and projects that make their businesses easier to run.

My experience spans manufacturing, direct-to-consumer sales, purchasing, production, kitting, warehousing, and logistics. I understand how a decision in one department can create work—or opportunity—in another.

Nine years working with EOS inform how I approach vision, planning, Rocks, and accountability. I am not an EOS Implementer; I help owners adapt their operating systems to the business they are building next.

Is this a fit?

An established business.
A meaningful next chapter.

Korfi is built for owner-led companies, often in the $5M–$50M revenue range, whose complexity has grown faster than their capacity to improve it. The situation matters more than the revenue band.

A useful starting point

  • You have an important problem or opportunity that keeps getting deferred.
  • You are willing to share context, involve the right people, and make decisions.
  • You want stronger systems and a more capable team, with less depending on you.

If the immediate need is daily IT support, a specialist technical project, or a full-time department head, we can discuss whether a different kind of help fits better.

Before we talk

A few practical questions.

Is this a fractional CTO role?

Technology is a major part of the work, but the role is broader. Korfi’s Fractional Strategy & Growth Leadership connects business priorities, operations, technology, and execution. The responsibilities follow the opportunity, rather than forcing your business into a particular C-suite title.

What does the monthly retainer include?

Reserved hours for agreed priorities: leadership sessions, research, decision support, planning, and implementation oversight. We define the working rhythm, deliverables, availability, and responsibilities together. Larger implementation projects are scoped separately.

How much does it cost, and how many hours do we need?

We first identify your opportunities and the level of involvement they need. Then we agree on scope, reserved monthly hours, fees, and terms. You will have those details before deciding whether to work together.

Will you work with our existing team and IT provider?

Yes. The work should strengthen the team you already have. Korfi is not an IT help desk or a substitute for your existing IT provider. We coordinate with your people and qualified specialists where needed, with clear responsibilities.

Does modernization mean replacing everything or using AI everywhere?

No. We start with what works. A simpler process, an integration, or better use of existing software may solve the problem. AI is useful where it improves an actual workflow, with appropriate data access, human review, and a way to evaluate results.

Are you an EOS Implementer?

No. Nathan has nine years of experience working with EOS. That informs his approach to vision, long-range goals, annual planning, quarterly Rocks, and accountability. Korfi does not offer formal EOS implementation.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. Nathan is based in Hagerstown and can come to businesses within roughly an hour. If you would prefer to start over lunch, lunch is on Nathan. Remote conversations and ongoing work are also available.

Start with a conversation

What would you finally tackle if you had the right help?

Tell me what is taking too much time, what keeps getting postponed, or where you see an opportunity. We will start there.

I’m happy to come to you. We’ll understand the opportunity before discussing an engagement.
